Dr. Bruns received his B.S and B.A. at Loyola University in Chicago, IL. He received his medical degree from the Dr. William Scholl School of Podiatry in Chicago, and served his residency at the VA Chicago Health Care System.

Dr. Bruns is a board certified foot surgeon and holds credentials from both the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.
